A Community That Thrives Through Change.
For twenty five years, Mission Yoga has been more than a yoga studio. It has been a sanctuary, a training ground, a third place, and a home for tens of thousands of students seeking strength, sweat, healing, and community. Our space has weathered recessions, relocations, earthquakes, breakups, breakthroughs, and a global pandemic. Through it all, our mission has remained the same: create a welcoming and heart-forward environment where every person can grow, breathe, and belong.
Today we are entering a new chapter in our story.
Terrel and Alyssa Move On. Mission Yoga Moves Forward.
As part of our ongoing evolution, we are announcing that Terrel and Alyssa have chosen to move on from our teaching team and pursue their work in other spaces. We appreciate the energy and enthusiasm they shared during their time here.
At Mission Yoga, growth and transition are natural parts of the journey. This community has always been bigger than any single moment or individual. Our strength has come from the incredible people who show up to practice, breathe together, sweat together, and support one another through all of life’s changes.
Mission Yoga has thrived for twenty five years because it is anchored in something deeper than personalities. It is anchored in purpose, in practice, and in the collective heart of the community.
Welcoming Back a Familiar Face: Alexandra Returns
We are thrilled to share some uplifting news.
Alexandra Sutton, one of our earliest instructors in the new Mission Street space, is returning to our teaching team. Many of you will remember Alexandra for her radiant presence, her empowering teaching style, and her grounding leadership in both Hot Yoga and Inferno Hot Pilates.
Alexandra will be stepping back into the schedule in the coming weeks, bringing her signature warmth, precision, and strength to the room. This marks an exciting moment for our community as we continue to elevate our teaching team and offer powerful, transformational fitness classes to our students.

Stability, Strength, and the Future of Mission Yoga
Our commitment to offering high quality Hot Yoga, exclusive Hot Box Yoga, Inferno Hot Pilates, Buti MVMT, Yin Yoga, somatic breathwork, and sound healing remains as strong as ever. The Mission Yoga schedule is fully covered, the studio is running smoothly, and we are already onboarding new and returning teachers to support our growing community.
We are also continuously improving:
- Our class experience
- Our membership offerings
- Our events and workshops
- Our systems and communication
- And the overall student journey
Mission Yoga is not slowing down. It is leveling up.
